چکیده

The objective of the present work is investigation a novel polygeneration system for power, refrigeration and heating production at two temperature levels. uses CO2 as working fluid, which an environmentally friendly fluid. total configuration combination transcritical cycle coupled to Brayton with recompression, fed by biomass boiler. examined system, nominal operating conditions, produces 5 °C, 45 °C 80 °C. Additionally, can be converted into trigeneration where outputs are produced same level. was studied parametrically changing following seven critical parameters: turbine inlet temperature, high pressure, medium heat exchanger effectiveness, rejection temperature. In energy exergy efficiencies were 78.07% 26.29%, respectively. For input 100 kW, net power 24.50 30.73 while low 9.24 kW 13.60 analysis conducted developed model in Engineering Equation Solver.

Parametric analysis of a broadband Archimedean spiral antenna with cavity

In this article an Archimedean spiral antenna is designed and analyzed that has good operation in broadband application. By analyzing this design, the effects that different parameters have on antenna operation will be studied and ways of optimization will be found.  Influences of cavity height and number of turns to obtain good matching and gain in a frequency interval of 4 to 18 GHz will be d...

Parametric and working fluid analysis of a combined organic Rankine-vapor compression refrigeration system activated by low-grade thermal energy

The potential use of many common hydrofluorocarbons and hydrocarbons as well as new hydrofluoroolefins, i.e. R1234yf and R1234ze(E) working fluids for a combined organic Rankine cycle and vapor compression refrigeration (ORC-VCR) system activated by low-grade thermal energy is evaluated. The basic ORC operates between 80 and 40 °C typical for low-grade thermal energy power plants while the basi...

Numerical Studies of Fluid-rock Interactions in Enhanced Geothermal Systems (egs) with Co2 as Working Fluid

There is growing interest in the novel concept of operating Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS) with CO2 instead of water as heat transmission fluid. Initial studies have suggested that CO2 will achieve larger rates of heat extraction, and can offer geologic storage of carbon as an ancillary benefit. Fluid-rock interactions in EGS operated with CO2 are expected to be vastly different in zones wit...

Thermodynamic analysis of an absorption refrigeration system with ionic-liquid/refrigerant mixture as a working fluid

Thermodynamics of an ionic-liquid (IL) based absorption refrigeration system has been numerically analyzed. It provides an alternative to the normally toxic working fluids, such as the ammonia in conventional absorption systems. The use of ILs also eliminates crystallization and metal-compatibility problems of the water/LiBr system. Mixtures of refrigerants and imidazolium-based ILs are theoret...
